When we ambled up the drive and parked the car, we were greeted by a smiling, friendly proprietor, husband Dick, who instantly made us feel at ease. As he ushered us into their lovely open foyer, my husband and We were struck with how pleasant and charming this place seemed. Our room was immaculate and appealing, the view from the windows of sloping greens and pine trees gave us a sense of serenity. A variety of cozy corners around the "Common Rooms" gives the visitor many choices in which to rest and read.
To describe the terrific breakfasts we have enjoyed would be to describe the character of the chef in the family, Julie. This lady has the gift of hospitality deep in her bones, and presented us with unique and very tasty feasts! Piping hot coffee kept coming, as my husband and I enjoyed the beautiful view of their meadow like front lawn. Deer, chipmunks, hawk, and grouse can be seen flitting about on the grounds, along with two very well-trained gentle dogs added to the calming atmosphere.
This peaceful surrounding, the quiet restfulness at night, and this caring couple's full attention to all our needs, made us feel very satisfied with our whole experience. Located in an attractive off the main beat section of Whitefish, Julie's Country Manor is truly a Holy Grail and memorable best!
Most Sincerely, Bonnie Donohue
Guest Letter:
Dear Julie and Dick, thank you so much for the really nice three days at Julie's Country Manor in July. Your friendliness and hospitality, your good food, and the serene location made it easy to unwind after a day in Glacier National Park. Some of our best memories of the trip to Montana are sitting on your front porch in the evening, chatting and watching the deer.
Thanks for the retreat from the faced paced world. You have a quiet, beautiful home. Delicious breakfasts! Special treats like rhubarb coffee cake! Lovely rooms! A first class Bed & Breakfast!
Hope to come again. Phil & Marcela

Dear Julie & Dick, Our 5 night stay at your lovely country manor was one of the top highlights of our trip to Montana. Tom & I are completely blown away with the totally AWESOME breakfasts, the comfort of your home & our room with it's luxurious bath, your SUPER hospitality with all the little extras that we appreciated so much, & your genuine warm, friendliness.
The advice from Dick on which routes to take around the area were great also. We will have fond memories to last us a lifetime & hopefully we will get to return someday for which we will certainly look you up for our stay . Will definitely recommend staying at your B&B to anyone we know planning a trip to Montana & the Glacier National Park area. We sincerely hope that you contact us if you travel to Chicago.
